Call for entries to Tehran Int'l Animation Festival released

The 11th edition of Tehran International Animation Festival (TIAF) has announced call for entries.

TIAF consists of four sections, including competition, out of competition, special screening and panorama.

Applicants can fill out the submission form online at www.tehran-animafestival.ir from June 9 to October 5, 2018.

As per the terms of entry, pieces produced after 2014 can enter the national section of the event under the condition that they must have had no prior screening in previous editions of the festival

For the International competition section, productions made in January 2015 onwards are eligible entries for consideration.

A panel consists of leading international jurors selected by festival headquarter will judge the works and grant awards.

Organized by Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA), Tehran Int'l Animation Festival is a competitive biennial.

The main goal is to promote animation and broaden cultural interchange.

The festival is scheduled for March 5-9, 2019 in the Iranian capital of Tehran.
